ArcelorMittal Hamburg GmbH is one of the largest manufacturers of quality wire rod in Germany. In 2012, the company produced 700.000 tons of wire rod.
In order to reorganize internal transport, ArcelorMittal planned to purchase a towing vehicle in 2015.
The knowledge and experience of the Dahlgaard company was drawn upon when the concept was created. Based on the specifications, several options with different focuses were presented. Ultimately, they decided on an electric tractor from Still.
As an alternative to a brand new device, purchasing a reconditioned used device was also considered. And here too, Dahlgaard was able to score points at ArcelorMittal. Dahlgaard only ever recommends devices based on the actual needs of its customers.
“If a used device is a more sensible and sustainable solution for our customer, we support them,” says Thomas Mayer, specialist consultant at Dahlgaard, describing the philosophy behind it. “As an independent dealer, we are not under pressure to sell new devices. On the contrary, we can look back on years of experience in the used market, which we are happy to share with our customers.”
ArcelorMittal also decided on a used vehicle after extensive consultation. A comprehensively overhauled electric tractor was the perfect purchase for the purposes. This decision means you don't have to forego outstanding quality at a significantly lower purchase price. A suitable device was quickly decided on and the overhaul began. Particular emphasis was placed on the function of the tractor. In addition to many wearing parts, the drive battery was also replaced. Finally, the vehicle was visually prepared.
The customer ArcelorMittal was very satisfied with the device and the collaboration and promised further inquiries.
Martin Schimpke, workshop foreman in the rolling mill, sums up the collaboration with the Dahlgaard company as “very good” because “inquiries were responded to quickly and competently”. ArcelorMittal particularly appreciated the pricing and customer-oriented advice.

The company's constant expansion is reflected in its almost 100 branches. The Eggers Group also operates the online shop www.shoesnow.de
To expand the Eggers Schuh + Sport GmbH logistics center in Kappeln, the Dahlgaard company was awarded the contract to supply the shelving system with a steel platform and lifting lift. Dahlgaard was successful in this project because the Handewitter company presented the best concept.
“By working with different suppliers, we can always offer our customers a solution tailored to their requirements,” explains Uwe Petersen, specialist consultant at Dahlgaard. “This means the hall can be used optimally without wasting space.”
In the future, employees will be able to move safely between floors using the wide, gently sloping staircases. The integrated freight elevator makes work much easier. The Eggers Schuh + Sport GmbH employees involved praised the excellent collaboration with the Dahlgaard company.
Already in the planning phase, the competent advice pointed out many options that otherwise would not have been considered. Even in the development phase, customer requests could be implemented at short notice thanks to the short decision-making processes. The shelf builders in particular left a lasting impression with their clean and professional work.

In addition to many other tasks, Tourismus-Service Wenningstedt-Braderup GmbH & Co. KG is responsible for the almost 1.600 beach chairs on the kilometer-long sandy beach between Westerland and Kampen. In order to meet the high demands of the guests, great importance is attached to the impeccable condition of the beach chairs.
An online booking system for beach chairs documents the high standards that have been set here. A lot of effort goes into repairing and storing the valuable beach chairs.
When the new warehouse building was planned in 2015, the Dahlgaard company received the order to supply the racking system and the forklifts.
The reason for the award was the good past experience with the Dahlgaard company and the fact that the entire technological equipment comes from a single source. But the coherent overall concept and the unbeatable price-performance ratio were also crucial for the order distribution. Last but not least, the proximity of the supplier to the customer also plays an important role. The quick and practical help with problems from competent experts is particularly appreciated on an island.
The collaboration between Tourismus-Service Wenningstedt-Braderup GmbH & Co. KG and the Dahlgaard company shows how a long-term partnership can be brought to life.
Your satisfaction is important to us.
